Gary Clement is a Canadian artist, cartoonist, illustrator and writer.

He’s the author and illustrator of two graphic novels, K IS IN TROUBLE and K IS IN TROUBLE AGAIN, both published by Little, Brown Ink.

He has also written and illustrated many pictures books, among them, Swimming, Swimming, Just Stay Put and The Great Poochini, which earned Canada’s Governor General’s Award for illustration.

Gary has also provided illustrations for many other picture books, most recently, My Winter City, written by James Gladstone and published by Groundwood Books.

His freelance illustrations and cartoons have appeared in The New York Times Book Review, The Boston Globe, Mother Jones and newspapers and magazines across North America.
